Customers from the Republic of Ireland are crossing the border in increasing numbers to buy their cars from Northern Ireland Dealerships. Many Northern dealers reckon that around twenty percent of the vehicles that they sell are now being purchased by buyers from the South.

Southern motorists are taking advantage of favourable exchange rates to snap up deals on new and used cars. Some new cars can be purchased for up to £10,000 less than they can be obtained in the Republic of Ireland.
